Horace, Land Use Ordinance Update

The city and its consultants are still working on the Land Use Ordinance. A draft should be available within a few weeks and then a public comment period will occur. We have confirmed that there is anti-monotony language within the ordinance.

City of Fargo Blower Door Testing Status

The Fargo building permits from July 2022 pulled in 33 single-family houses requiring blower door tests. As of right now, 13 have been completed. A majority have passed with only one not passing because the test was conducted too early in the building process.  

HBA of F-M hosted a blower door lunch session this week with Russell Schell of RJ Energy Solutions to demonstrate the process to members (photos below).

Building Material Prices Declining

Prices for building materials have declined for the second consecutive month.
