Metro COG Fargo-Moorhead regional housing needs study

A public meeting to present the housing study to local officials occurred June 29. The study concluded that in ten years, 16,400 housing units are needed.

Here are some takeaways from the meeting:

  • There is still time for us to begin solving our issue: the sooner we start, the better.
  • A diversified housing stock is needed.
  • Housing issues are not solved city-by-city, rather they are best addressed by working together as a region.

The FMWF Chamber's Eggs & Issues today highlights this study and will feature HBA CEO, Bryce Johnson as a panelist. Keep an eye out for a recap.
