We came, we saw, we networked! Earlier this month, HBA and Allstar Construction teamed up for a night of high-energy networking with complimentary drinks and bites. Allstar unveiled their new facility in Horace and we definitely give it five stars!

Home Builders Care receives over $5K in donations at HBA Happy Hour

We were thrilled to raise a glass and celebrate a successful Parade of Homes Sept. 28 at Floor to Ceiling Carpet One!

 

Home Builders Care of F-M Foundation, the HBA's charity, received over $5,000 in donations made possible by two fundraisers:

  1. The three Luxurious Featured Homes hosted during the Fall Parade by Benjamin Custom Homes, LLC., Designer Homes of Fargo-Moorhead and Radiant Homes raised a whopping $3,940. Ben Anderson, Benjamin Custom Homes, LLC, and Robert Leslie, Jr., presented the check to Home Builders Care President Nancy Kelly, Labor Masters.
  2. Home Builders Care trustees hosted a wine ring toss game at the Happy Hour event raising $532. Better yet, this was matched by Floor to Ceiling Carpet One, bringing in a grand total of over $1,064.

Oct. 20 Quick HBA 401(k) PEP Plan Intro HBA of F-M is proud to partner with Investment Consulting Services to bring this exciting opportunity to all HBA members. Oct. 25 Building Industry Connect with Sheriff Jahner Join us for lunch with Cass County Sheriff Jesse Jahner. The HBA of F-M's Building Industry Connect sessions are a chance for officials and members to learn about each other. An additional guest will be announced soon! Cost is $25.

Oct. 26 Breakfast Session: Fall Protection 

Leaves will be falling soon, but if you fall at a jobsite, we want you to be safe! That's why it's important to follow proper safety protocol and protect yourself. Falls are a leading cause of work-related injuries and fatalities. They are also one of the top reasons for OSHA citations, which can result in costly penalties. Cost is $20.

Nov. 1 Holding People Accountable with Art Atkinson Many leaders think of holding people accountable in a punitive manner. However, there are methods that are much more effective and productive. This session is especially beneficial for small businesses and teams. It is hosted in conjunction with Express Employment Professionals. Cost is $30. 

Nov. 16 North Dakota Association of Builders Banquet & Social Our state association is coming to Fargo! Join the fun at Radisson Blu as NDAB installs our very own HBA of F-M member, Tom Spaeth, Accent Contracting, as 2024 president. Cost is $50.

Nov. 29 NRASP Safety & Health Conference This one-day conference offers expert speakers on the MOST important safety topics, plus continuing education units and vendor booths. This year it has added a game social! Cost is $75.

Nov. 30 Health, Tech & Trades Career Expo Registration is open for schools, sponsors and exhibitors! Each year 4,000+ students attend at the Fargodome. It is designed to promote various industries to 9th graders in Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo and area rural public and private schools.

Feb. 23-25 Red River Valley Home & Garden Show 2024 The Red River Valley Home & Garden Show is the premier regional show displaying hundreds of home renovation pros, builders, cabinetry experts, landscapers, interior designers and home furnishers. Early rates expire Oct. 25.
