Home Builders Care at HBA Golf Outings

The July Golf Outing was a huge success! The Home Builders Care Yeti Cooler winner was Nick Ludowese from Cass County Electric Cooperative.

The August Golf Outing was another hit! The Home Builders Care Yeti Cooler winner was Ryan Lofgren from Fargo Truss Systems, Inc.

High school scholarship reception
|
Home Builders Care and HBA of F-M welcomed high school graduates and their families to a scholarship reception in June.
For the first time, the John Gunkelman Scholarship was awarded to one outstanding graduate, Brodee Gray.

Post-secondary scholarships
|
The Foundation's other scholarship, post-secondary scholarships, are available to college students with industry related majors.
Post-secondary scholarship applications open in August and are usually due in November. College students pursuing a career in the trades industry are eligible.

Herdina Construction Trades Camp
|
The Herdina Construction Trades Camp happened June 5-16.
There were 21 graduates who took part in this hands-on experience learning about the trades.

The Health, Tech and Trades Career Expo is set for November 30, 2023.
The Career Expo is designed to help ninth graders explore different career and education opportunities.

The High Noon Shootout will consist of two rounds of trap shooting followed by dinner, socializing and prizes. We will end the event with an Annie Oakley competition.
Student Chapters are welcome to join in on the fun!

Home Builders Care participates in Davies High School career Day

Home Builders Care past President Ben Anderson and Trustee Shawn Weyer participated in Davies High School Career Day in February.

Home Builders Care receives $6,000 ALTA Good Deeds Grants
|
Home Builders Care was awarded a $6,000 grant through the American Land Title Association Good Deeds Foundation.
Patrick Buell from The Title Company nominated Home Builders Care for this grant. Without him, this funding would not be possible. Patrick serves on Home Builders Care Fundraising Committee.

Giving Hearts Day countdown

On Giving Hearts Day, 2023, members gave over $50,000 to support the Foundation's community building projects, scholarships, and workforce-centered programming.
The first ever "Building the Future" Cup was awarded to the Builder Team, in a friendly builder v. Realtor competition.
