Join us in August for an opportunity to connect with newer Moorhead City Council Members! 

In November 2024, three new Council Members were elected and one was re-elected. This event is a great opportunity to get to know them, learn about recent developments in Moorhead and stay informed. As councilmembers confirm their attendance, we’ll update the list below.

Council Member Borgen is a lifelong resident of Moorhead, a graduate of Moorhead High School, a graduate of Minnesota State University-Moorhead, and earned a law degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law. She served as Clay County Attorney from 1999-2006, District Court Judge in Moorhead and Detroit Lakes from 2006-2013, and most recently was a Vice President at American Crystal Sugar Company in Moorhead, from 2014 through 2024. She serves on the Metro Flood Diversion Authority Board of Directors, Moorhead Clay County Joint Powers Authority, Moorhead Public Service, Legislative Workgroup and is an alternate on the NW Regional Emergency Communications Boards
