Great Golf Ball Drop: A hole lot of fun for a great cause

The BIA Foundation of the Red River Valley’s Great Golf Ball Drop brought a little extra excitement to the golf course this summer and, most importantly, helped support the Foundation’s work to invest in our community and future workforce.

Throughout the summer, golfers and BIA members had the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win while supporting the BIA Foundation. A big thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket and helped make the fundraiser a success. We also appreciate the BIA members and volunteers who helped sell tickets and spread the word throughout the season. Your support makes fundraisers like this possible.

At each golf outing, numbered golf balls were dropped onto the course, with prizes awarded to the balls that landed closest to or in the hole and the ball that landed furthest from the hole. Congratulations to this summer’s winners:

The Great Golf Ball Drop is a great example of how a little friendly competition can make a meaningful difference. Funds raised through the BIA Foundation help support scholarships, workforce development, community building initiatives and other efforts that strengthen the Red River Valley.
