First International Bank & Trust launches 11th annual Live First Community Giving campaign

First International Bank & Trust (FIBT) is excited to announce the return of its 11th annual Live First Community Giving Campaign, providing charitable and community organizations with the opportunity to receive funding to support their initiatives. This year, FIBT will award grants totaling $63,000 to deserving organizations that make a positive impact in their communities. 

Who can apply? 

Any organization that benefits the communities served by First International Bank & Trust is encouraged to apply. This includes non-profits, community groups, classroom initiatives, and other organizations that can demonstrate value to their local communities. 

Grant Categories & Awards

A variety of grants are available for organizations that are making a difference in a local community:

• Grand Prize: One organizations will receive a $20,000 grant to further its mission.
• Rising Star Grants: Six grants of $3,000 will be awarded to new non-profits or new initiatives within existing organizations that need a financial assistance getting started.
• Category Winners: One organization from each of 11 applicant categories will receive $2,000 to support their cause. Categories include: 
  • Critter Crusaders - animal welfare organizations
  • Allies of the Arts and Culture - arts focused organizations
  • Wellness Warriors - health and wellness organizations
  • Hearts and Minds - education-based organizations
  • Hope in Housing - housing support organizations
  • Feeding the Community - food-based services
  • Accessibility Champion - advocates for individuals with disabilities 
  • Support and Security - support for at-risk individuals
  • Family-Friendly - organizations supporting families
  • Nature League - parks and natural space organizations
  • Safety Society - emergency response and public safety organizations
• Social Media Star: Three grants of $1,000 will be awarded to organizations that receive the most likes on their original photo posted on the FIBT Facebook Page. 

FIBT's Live First Community Giving Campaign is a testament to its commitment to supporting organizations that enrich the lives of those in its communities. Organizations that fit the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply and take advantage of  this opportunity to receive financial support for their mission.
