June Golf Outing Recap

What a perfect day for the June golf outing!

With sunny skies and high spirits, the BIA Golf Tournament at Hawley Golf and Country Club was a fantastic success. We had 145 golfers on the course, all competing for a chance to take home the BIA of the RRV Golf Tournament Champs trophy. The June 2026 tournament champions were Tim Stahlberger, Eric Gillies, Mark Singleton (Paragon Homes) and Travis Pender.

We also want to recognize the incredible volunteers who contributed their time and effort to the June  golf outing. From setup to cleanup and everything in between, your commitment played a vital role in making the day run smoothly.

The Great Ball Drop brought another exciting turnout and big win! Chris Holland had the ball that landed closest to the hole, taking home $1,880 in winnings. Nick Olson, Viking Millwork also walked away with $100 for the ball that traveled farthest from the hole.

Along with the Great Ball Drop, we wrapped up the day with a variety of prize giveaways and plenty of lucky winners. Tom Berseth with Xcel Energy took home the Forest Products Direct prize. Heather Schmeets of Building Concepts won the Red Dot game, receiving a Scheels gitft card. Julie Bushinger won the BIA Foundation prize of a cooler full of goodies.

Cole McKingstray, Dakota Construction, took home the Professional Women in Building Council's toolbox/hammer, and Spencer Carlson of LP Building Solutions won their giveaway. Danny Wilm won OECS's bundle of summer items and Lacie Bacon and Kelly Bauer of Pope Design Group were the winners of Brady Martz's prizes.Carson Murray of Dustin Murray Construction won Bell Bank's gift bag and Sam Caven with Dabbert Custom Homes won the Midco bag of goodies. Aaron Moore took home the Fabricators Unlimited gift basket and Matt Orner, Platinum Homes won the New Vision Security giftcard. The BCBS prize went to Shelly Murray of Dustin Murray Construction and the Sherwin William price was awarded to Josh Colden.

To top it all off, we challenged golfers to wear their wackiest t-shirt—and they delivered! The winner of the contest was Joe Striegel of Dakota Construction, who took home a fishbowl of goodies. Thank you to everyone who participated and congratulations to all our winners!
