Mapleton Firefighters Association Golf Tournament looking for a few more teams

The Mapleton Firefighters Association is looking for just seven more teams to fill its upcoming Golf Tournament and is encouraging community members, businesses, friends, and families to sign up before registration closes. The tournament offers participants a fun day of golf, food, games and prizes while helping support the dedicated men and women who serve the community through the Mapleton Firefighters Association.

The event will be held at Maple River Golf Club in Mapleton and features a four-person scramble format. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Team registration is $500 and includes lunch and golf carts for all participants.

In addition to a great day on the course, golfers will have the opportunity to participate in fun hole games throughout the tournament, compete for prizes and giveaways, and even take a chance at winning a new vehicle, with some restrictions applying.

Proceeds from the event will help support the Mapleton Firefighters Association and provide firefighter incentives for the individuals who dedicate their time and service to protecting the community. Those who are unable to participate as golfers can also support the event by becoming a hole sponsor.
