Western Products and Renewal by Anderson of Fargo are proud to announce their partnership with Down Home, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting families emerging from homelessness. This collaboration reflects the companies' deep commitment to community service and their shared belief that a home is not something to take for granted.
This year, the companies sponsored two transformative move-ins for families in need. In April, the team helped a father and his twin sons settle into a newly furnished townhome, filling it with beds, furniture, and personalized touches for each family member. The father expressed heartfelt gratitude, saying, "I don't like it, I love it. Last year I was homeless, and it's just good to see that people still help people...you guys are great. I appreciate it very much."
In June, the team supported a mother and her five-year-old son, creating a comfortable and welcoming home. The young boy, shy at first, lit up with excitement upon seeing his own name and Captain America on his bedroom walls, running from room to room to see the rest of the apartment.
"Western Products and Renewal by Andersen value being part of our local community, and we were honored to be able to partner with Down Home to serve local families," said Ray Blaha, General Manager of Western Products and Renewal by Andersen of Fargo. "As a company, we believe that a home is more just walls and furniture—it's where memories are made. Getting to turn these houses into homes was a real joy for our whole tea,."
Western Products and Renewal by Andersen extend their thanks to Down Home and their dedicated team members who made these move-ins possible. Together, they made a true difference in the lives of families in the community who need it most.
