WSI announces new phase in Ergonomic Initiative Grant Program
WSI has officially announced that a new phase program will launch in 2026, with a tentative start date to January 1, 2026. While it will be a similar program, there will be a new distribution of grant funds—great news for those looking to enhance workplace ergonomics!
What this means for you
If you currently have ergonomic grant funds available, now is the time to use them! Funds will not carry over to the next phase so make sure to take full advantage before the program resets. If you’re considering new ergonomic equipment that hasn’t been assessed yet, submit a new Ergonomic Initiative Application in myWSI and we can finalize your request for WSI’s review.
If you know someone who could benefit from ergonomic funding, please spread the word! Most people hear about this program through word of mouth, so feel free to share the information, or even pass along my contact details. I’m happy to walk them through the process! I can also send you a quick “how-to” email that you can forward to others.
As the current grant phase wraps up and another begins, here are the important dates to keep in mind:
- June 30, 2025 – Last day to submit Ergonomic Initiative Application
- Sept. 30, 2025 – Deadline to submit a budget request for grant items
- Nov. 30, 2025 – Final deadline to submit a reimbursement request
To check your remaining grant balance, log into myWSI, click on the Ergonomic Initiative button, and you’ll see your available funds displayed at the top of the page. To begin a new application, simply click “new” to begin a fresh application.
